From A Dream To Cali Tajadas

Cali Tajadas began with Vanessa and Emilio, a Colombian couple who started selling homemade triangular empanadas in Corona. While working nights cleaning restaurants, they dreamed of creating a place to share the flavors of Colombia.

On April 1, 2019, that dream became reality when Cali Tajadas opened in Brooklyn. Starting with just three employees and facing challenges including the pandemic, our founders continued forward with discipline, dedication, and perseverance.
